At what age will my young female pig have her first season?

Every pig will vary, but it can be as young as 3-4 months.
However it's best to wait til they are a good bit older before even thinking about breeding (if that's why you're wondering) - best if they don't farrow until they're at least a year old.

i agree with Karen on 3-4 months for the earliest season, although it could be 9 months before the first time.
I wouldn't consider putting a gilt to the boar before she is 12 months old.

Thank you for that. Yes the breeder that I got her from said wait for a year and thats what I intend to do. She is 6 months now what are signs to look for?!
