Don’t feed citrus fruits? Parsnips?

Post by Sylviemc » Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:10 pm

Hello I have heard that you shouldn’t feed citrus fruits to KKs nor parsnips. I also have read that you can feed acorns?
Please advise and anything else other than usual meat/kitchen waste?

Raw spuds should be boiled. Too much fruit (sugar) or too much salty food can cause problems.

Acorns are good if you have them, but I imagine they can get get fat if you have a lot.

I find they don't eat mushrooms. I can't see any reason why, maybe deep rooted instinct.

Milk is also classed as kitchen waste, unless it comes from your own herd.

There is more detail than your will ever need here.
