CCTV?
Our first litter is due around 19th June and I'm keen to do the best I can, but am totally inexperienced. I'm reading Wendy Scudamore's book which is really helpful and like the idea of setting up CCTV to keep track of what's happening but don't know where to start - does anyone have any recommendations?
Re: CCTV?
Hello, I have an iPhone and iPad and bought a small wireless camera to go with them and set it up
In the barn for farrowing (and lambing) time. It's really simple to set up cost £99 and works pretty well and I can 'look in' from wherever I am, no good if you haven't an iPhone though!
We also have CCTV set up for our property, bought a kit from Maplin, approx £300 it was an involved installation and set up, hubby installed it, but works brilliantly! Good luck.

you can get pretty good little wireless cctv's (if you haven't got an iphone) but check the range of course. google it and have look.
good luck, and thanks for buying the book!

I bought mine from Maplin too, wireless with a range of 200m so it reaches my stable. It cost about £120. They are brilliant as you can sit and watch from your bed
