KuneKune lonely looking for a pal

Post by Sandi » Sat Feb 04, 2017 10:59 pm

Hello, we have recently and suddenly lost our dearest Pete, brother to Gordon, ...Gordiee is missing Pete's company and we think that we should find a pal or mate for Gordie.
Is it known to be better that kunekune have company and should that company be same sex or not?
We have over 3 acres of free to roam grazing with stream and warm dry house. If anyone has a kunekune that needs a new home to accompany another large male.
Any info or suggestions greatully received. regards Sandi

Hello there,

I have a pair of registered castrates (brothers) looking for a home, free of charge. They each have a little story to tell - they are both very healthy! I can split them as I have other pigs. They are around 4 months old and were partially hand reared as mum had mastitis so VERY tame. It is much easier to introduce young pigs to older pigs as they don't pose a threat and so any fighting and disagreements are usually small. There is a film of them here and more photos on my FB page:

They would travel in a crate.

If you would like any more info come back to me.
Cheerio for now, Sam Jones :-)
