Mexican Hat feeder

Post by biddydog » Mon Nov 19, 2012 4:52 pm

I know it is unlikely but does anyone have a Mexican Hat style pig feeder with section dividers intact for a reasonable price (upto £120).
It would be ideal for our two Kunes - Wilson and Dolly. He is a castrated male and pushes her our of the current trough.

It might not solve your problem, a second trough a distance away might be better.

Also, depending on how old your pigs are the dividers can sometimes be too narrow for the head of an adult kunekune.

Interesting point Simon. My Kunes are 6 months old and very small. Mum was small and I am anticipating they will be smallish Kunes- but who knows.
We may well do as you suggest and just have two feeders as we do now.
Thanks- let's see if anyone has a spare??? :)
