walking piggies... any advice / info / experience?

Post by avons82 » Thu Jun 09, 2011 9:05 pm

hmmm was thinking of applying for a walking license, on the off chance I may want to walk my kunekune... (I probably won't end up doing it) but wondered if anyone had and advice?

Do they wear a dog harness?

Does anyone out there walk their pigs? Or is it just a silly novelty thing you see on the telly??! :?

thanks! :D

I'd be half minded to walk ours, too, but you can't (yet) get a walking license in Scotland.

I'd have thought a harness was the way to go, rather than just a collar and lead.

definitely a harness s a pig doesn't really have a neck so collars slip off.
but yes, i think its just a novelty thing and as long as your pigs have room (which i think yours do) they won't need it
