OT - How to keep sheep? Book Advice Wanted

Post by CarolineB » Sun Aug 30, 2009 8:40 pm

Sorry, this is a bit Off Topic, but if there was anyone I knew who could help, it's you lot!

Today, we've exapnded our little family - started with pigs, moved onto a small person, now onto sheep - by buying 3 sweet Ryleland lambs. Have basic feeding and keeping advice, but I was wondering if any of you knew of any good books? So I have Andy Cases's and Carol (surname?) pig books and have been really useful.

So I wonderd if anyone knew/relied on any sheep keeping books?

I can see that there's a "Startign with Sheep" which seems the Andy Case equiv for sheep! But that has no reviews on Amazon. Or there's a "Practical Sheep Keeping" by Kim Cardell which has good reviews on Amazon.

Any advice, v gratefully rec'd.

The Kim Cardell book is good. Maybe too much information in it for now, but you'll need it for reference in the coming year.
