Free Piglet...

Post by CathB » Tue Jul 19, 2011 11:32 am

Free to good home, very small 1yr old entire boar. Has a small hernia so best suited to becoming a pet.

Must go to a new home by the end of this week, as we are moving...

Postcode: NP7 9TG. 01873 853003 if you're able to save this lovely little pig.

ENTIRE boars are not suitable as 'pets'. Please be sure he does not go to a home with young children, where they could be at risk when he matures.

You may wish to consider getting his hernia repaired and having him neutered, and making a small charge towards these costs for him, than offering him for free... which often does not attract the right sort of comittment.

How could you be sure he would not be used for breeding otherwise? And this may perpetuate the hernia problem being passed on.

I hope you find a nice home for him... good luck.
