Hurray our very first litter was born last Friday

on first check 6 boys and 2 girls. 4 ginger and black, 2 black and white and 2 (what we would call) white and brown, although this does not seem to be an official colour coding, so we do not know what to call it?!. They are all very much spotted.

We are definitely enjoying and at the same time wathing like a hawk as we've got foxes about. We've had a few sleepless nights already.

We are also eagerly awaiting the arrival of the second litter. As the local farmer here said the other day 'Poaka looks like she's got a belly full of pig' - nothing like the advice of an old hand eh?! :roll: [/quote]
