Looking for a new boar

Post by southfarm » Thu Jul 21, 2016 2:33 pm

Hello,
I have a lovely old boar who has given me many litters from my three sows but recently he has hasn't been able to impregnate any of them. I'm looking to get a year (or there abouts) old male kunekune to come and enjoy his life here with three lovely young ladies (White, Kesha and Sally). I'm based in Cambridgeshire but I'm willing to travel relative distance for the right boy. I have a large area for my pigs and keep a good rotation so they always have access to grass and wallows.

Have you had anyone contact you yet? I could put a post up for you on the FB Page if you are struggling to get a response - or try the kunekune Pigs UK facebook page. I may also know of one that may still be available.
Cheerio for now, Sam Jones :-)

Hi Rob,

This is probably a bit late but are you still looking for a kunekunes boar? We have a boar who is looking for love as we currently only have one sow to keep him happy. Let me know if you need him, we're just down the road from you (Hasrston).
