bruised barley

is bruised barley suitable for kunekune, have had a big order delivered for cattle.

When I first got my two pigs, they were being fed bruised barley as well as pig pellets. I'm sure they won't turn their noses up at :lol:

there was a lady on this board last year who lost one of her pigs to a batch of bad barley, almost lost the other two as well so beware,

I've been feeding mine (9 month old) bruised barley. They seem fine on it during the summer when only little is fed. Now winter is here they are putting on weight. I am assuming barley is richer than grass, they also exercise less. Going to reduce the barley and give them hay to see if that helps. Should keep them more busy....
