Slow eating

Post by Georges_Andrew » Tue Jun 17, 2014 11:10 am

Hey guys, I'm new to this board and I got a question.

Our kunekune is 6 months old (and way too smart for his age :)).
2 days ago, after many trial and errors he got into the box with chickenfeed .. so he had ago at it .. almost 3 kilograms of chickenfeed and corn.
since then he's been eating real slowly, not pooping regulary, warm nose and belly and even more Lazy.
Is there something I can give him, or add to his foor so he can get it all out of his system or should I go and see a vet ??

thx .. Mario

thankfully pigs can vomit so if his system can't cope he should bring it back up. make sure he has plenty of water all the times and i reckon it will be fine in a day or two when it has had time to pass through

He may well be fine in a day or two as Wendy suggested, overeating is a common problem with these smart little piggies :D If he has a temperature or it continues more than a couple of days I would be a little more concerned and would recommend you contact your vet.
