hiya i need some help ,as i have a 11 weeks old cross bred pig kunekune and micro german but more kunekune ,ive had her for 3 weeks now and since i put her bedding in the pen outside because she inside for the evening and outside during the day wen im out she has been itching and i noticed she got dry skin i am taking her for injection soon for the worming mites and mange but how do i sort the skin out is the pig oil good for the skin thanks

It is common for pigs to have dry skin. Yes pig oil is excellent and will really help

living inside is not good for their skin. she will be better if she lives out. warm dry atmosphere inside the house will aggravate the problem.

Are you going to get a friend for her? pigs are herd animals and are much happier if kept in pairs. :)

hiya she only sleeps in kitchen until she a bit older then she be going outside but its not warm in kitchen that why ive put her in thier to sleep then she outside all day !

i would get her used to it now as she will make a lot of noise to come back in if she is used to sleeping inside and she is alone :(
