Looking for boar at stud

Post by pigasue » Tue Mar 04, 2008 9:43 am

Hi my name is Sue Dodwell, i currently own 1 Kune sow, Kylie. she has had 1 litter of 12 very successfully. I live near Hexham in Northumberland & would ideally like to find a suitable boar nearer to home ie; Cumbria or Durham. I travelled to York last time which i may have to do again given the shortage of suitable boars in Cumbria so far. Kylie is Awakino & her father is Te Whangi. Can anyone help me out, i really would like to get her to a boar asap.

Hi Sue

We have a lovely Boar who is proven.
He is very gentle, just came back from stud and the guy that borrowed him could not believe how gentle he was.

Kaiwaka Tutaki VIII

Sire Starlight Tutaki III
Dam Burtibang Kereopa II

Black with ginger highlights, he had ginger stripes as a piglet.
Also had piri piris as a piglet but they both fell off when a teenager.
He is 2 yrs old in April.
He was home bread & reared, so a real softy.

Would be happy for you to borrow him.
We are near Chester.

Regards
Dean

Sue, we are just outside Cumbria, down the M6 from you - if that is more convenient. Near Ingleton / Kirkby Lonsdale. We could accomodate your sow.
