Not sure what type of straw mine have, all I know is it doesnt last long! They all gather for a feast as soon as I put it down and it is down to mulch by he next morning!

We use hay for ours. It's softer than straw plus they can eat it if they feel peckish in the night.

Where do I get barley straw and wheat from? Does it come in bales from farmey shop / livestock feed places like normal straw does?

Thanks! :D

Unless there were lice in the straw, it will not have caused that reaction. I suggest you ask the breeder if your pig has been injected for pig mange/lice. If not, you should treat her as it may be that causing itching etc.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet!
