General chat about kunekune pigs

My hitherto friendly, but feisty gilt, recently charged at two visitors and nipped them on the leg, knocking them over. She is being very grumpy with her castrated brother, who just walks away. I'm guessing it is hormonal, but couldn't really tell if she was in season or not. I have been recommended 3 different approaches, Chasteberrie, Regumate porcine or ovaectomy. She's normally very sweet, so I don't want to do anything rash. I gather this is fairly common when a pig is protecting its property, but not ideal if she hurts people.
