Feeding pigs
I have two gilts aged 9 months. They are sisters. One eats much more slowly than her sister and often regurgitates her food, but eats it again.
I feed them Allen and Page nuts , and replace in part with fresh fruit and veg. The one who regurgitates her food seems perfectly healthy in every respect but is a slow eater. As a result her sister (if fed together) gets more than her fair share. So at present I separate them for feeding but this is not ideal.
Do any others have this issue of regurgitating food by their pigs ? Is there any advice as to what I can do about this ? Is there a different feed I could try ?
Thanks Margaret

Re: Feeding pigs
I have never seen this problem before, nor heard of it from other people. I would advise you to contact your vet and ask them.
Many of us are familiar with slow eaters but this is more unusual because of the regurgitation.
Please let us know what your vet says at it maybe helpful to others in the future.

Re: Feeding pigs
Maybe they need a special diet.
I'm a big proponent of Max Performer because it worked so well for me.
