Kunekune in the home

Post by Christopher 85 » Wed Dec 02, 2015 7:09 pm

Hi all
Just joined, me and my partner are considering getting a pig as a pet in at least a years time. We have a medium garden and house. I've heard you can and can't keep a pig as a house pet, just wanted to know which is true?
Regards
Christopher
Ps I've kept large dogs in the past and keep other exotics at the moment

Pigs are not suitable animals to be kept in a house. The best thing to do is go and visit a couple of BKKPS members near you and spend sometime with the pigs. I think when you've spent time with pigs and their owners you will agree.

Thank you for the reply, looking further I do agree. I think a lot of what I've read saying you can, is by people who have had them short term and not really thought about what they need.

Christopher
