Hi Wendy, I think I am taking simple pills! I took my sows to boar around April/ may last year! We now have our own boar. Does this class me as an over a year breeder? Can you explain what this would mean to me as I am now quite heavily into breeding (2-3 boars and 5 sows) and want to register my go...

Thanks Guys, I know some people would not have bothered giving her the chance as the eye operation cost way more than her value but we had to give her a chance. She has been worth it tho, she is a real part of the family, although I have to admit I never would have seen myself with a house pig!javas...

I thought I would share with you a little story of my recent litter! I found my sow in labour at 2pm in the afternoon. She had had one piglet who was at the other side of the farrowing pen and was minutes from dying (we lost her soon after dispite attempts to save her), my sow was clearly in distres...
