I've been in this position, except over here in Northern Ireland. I asked the society by email for help in locating a boar but they were unable to help. Eventually after pestering the local society rep for some contacts I found one. But yeah, it's not straightforward.

On review, this should perhaps have been part of the "Meetings" subsection :oops: , but that said I don't expect we'll cause too many problems here, with the fairly low levels of activity on the forum in general. :)

I managed to find a boar for hire by the way. If anyone is interested in the same, feel free to get in touch and I can pass on the details. Going forward it might be something the society needs to look at - finding out who has a boar and who to contact can be extremely difficult. Maybe even contacti...

I'd like to get my KK sow back in pig. I'm located in South Derry, and would be looking for a boar to hire, or for someone who can accommodate my sow for a while.
