Re: Pig wanted as friend for solitary pig
Hi Adam,
Are you still looking for a pig to keep your other pig company? I might be able to help.
Best wishes,
Tim

Re: Two young friendly castrates available
Hi Barbara, Thanks for the question. Yes they're are still available, we're in Buckinghamshire, in betweeen Amersham and High Wycombe. I can help with transport if this helps, I am not really out to make money for the pigs but would like them to go to a a happy home as they're a nice little pair. Le...

Two young friendly castrates available
Two very friendly smaller kunekune pigs are now available. Both are registered with the BKKPS and have been wormed regularly. One is 11 months and is brown, black and white and the other is black who is 2. A CPH number is needed and I would prefer them to go together but will separate them to a home...

Re: What breed are my sows
They could be Berkshire crossed with a kunekune. They're small and the colour is being held by the Berskshire with some white coming out on the body.

Piri advice please?
Hi
My little boar was born with two Piri but one has since fallen off after they both became quite dangly. Will he still be OK to breed from? Could he still be shown in the future? He's a great little chap in other respects!
Thanks,
Tim

Avoiding in-breeding
Hi, if possible I'd like some advice about what to do with my pigs after I hopefully have our first litters in the Spring of this year. I keep two breeds of pigs; four kunekunes (one sow, one boar and two castrates) and four Meishan pigs (three sows and one boar). We only keep them as pets and want ...

Thanks for the reply Simon, that's what we'll do. He's a very lively little chap in all other regards. Thanks again,

Re: Boar piglet with a head tilt
Hi, yes indeed Claire, the vet said it might be permanent. He's happy and well in all other regards though, quite a little character...often found in the house!

Boar piglet with a head tilt
Hi I have a lovely black boar piglet who is now about three months old although was unwell a week or so back with a middle ear infection. As a result of the infection he seems to be left with a slight head tilt. I was hoping to use him as a stud boar and show him but both plans seem in question. The...

Re: Lovely Home Ready for 2-3 Pigs
I have a lovely black, fawn and white gilt called 'Clara' who is nearly 2 years old. Very well behaved, hairy and not too big. She's registered with BKKPS. I have lots of pictures of her if you'd like.

Kune transportation ideas
Hi I am considering taking my Kune sow to a show or two next year and possibly breeding from her. At the present time I dont have trailer or similar, would it be a sound investment to get one as the only other alternatives would involve loading her into a van (via ramps and a large dog crate) or the...

Re: Fox kills Kune piglet
I think this is really unusual. I've not heard of it happening before. It must have been a very small weaner and a particularly hungry fox. Yes, we have chickens too which also attract foxes. The woods at the back of us are teeming with foxes and at night you can sometimes hear them barking. The pi...
