We butchered the first two of our 11 month piglets this weekend (first time ever) both were castrates and weighed in at 39Kg and 37Kg live weight (23Kg/21Kg deadweight) Just over an inch of back fat on each one so we're delighted! we look to have got it pretty much spot on with the feeding. Hi all, We bought three non pedigree Kunes from Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock, Scotland earlier this year. Hi, just came across this site :D

We are in SW Scotland near Gretna

We plan to keep kunekunes for meat and have a breeding trio plus a handful of 7 month youngsters coming later this week.
