Re: Pigs rooting

Ai for kunekune sows

Hi everyone I have had a boar with a sow since the 7th of April and she is not pregnant as she was mated again yesterday. Yesterday I noticed that the boar had released his fluids when he was mating so if she does not fall pregnant then I know he is infertile. If he is infertile I was wondering if a...

Re: Hello all, a few questions!

I always feed my sow 3 lbs of nuts and then 0.5 lbs of nuts for each piglet but you need to build up the food over 3 weeks and also give her fruit and veg for the first few days as this helps the teats dry up that aren't being used and prevents mastitis in them from Tom

Re: Selling Weaners Singly

I think people these days need to breed pigs responsibly because the more we breed our pigs the more and more the gene pool is being restricted and in my opinion we nee...

Pigs can quite easily get sprains or pull muscles in their legs and this could be the problem or in this bad weather the pg could have slipped and just pulled a muscle or sprained it from Tom
