Piglets wetting in their Ark -any advise

We have 3 piglets in an ark on their own - about 4 months old. They will keep wetting on their bedding - all of it - not even in one corner. We have a maturer sow and she's grown out of wetting in one corner thankfully, but with 3 of them its not very pleasant.
Does anyone have any tips please, thanks

Thanks Wendy - that's really helpful. Seeing your picture with the hair and the scabs makes it seem more likely that it is mange - off to inject right away - I'll take a picture too if i can.

Re: Skin Issue with 3 of our 5 piglets - Any ideas..

We thought this initially, but the hair is all there and there are no nasty bits in or around the ears which is usually an indicator. An old pig farmer in the village popped round today to look and he doesn't think its mange either.
Bit of a head scratcher this one - if you pardon the pun!!

Skin Issue with 3 of our 5 piglets - Any ideas..

3 of our 5 piglets who are 15 weeks old have developed ' lumpy' skin on their hind quarters and tail too- it is hard and crater like in appearance, the hair on the piglets is fine - that hasn't thinned. It is irritating them somewhat. I initially thought last week it was dry skin and or mud and have...

Re: Pig Worming

We have used verm-x , a herbal wormer that is administered by adding a little scoop into the normal food volume for 7 days in a row, once a month. It's been sucsessful and they like it. No jabs - very straightforward and simple. Take a look at their site : http://www.verm-x.com/ Also I give ours fla...

Is their a 'pick-me-up' tonic for pigs?

One of our sows had her litter 12 weeks ago and is happily with her sister in a field without the litter now. She is a bit on the lean side in comparison to her sister, but I think that is to be expected. She is getting addtional food and I take her a treat of a few fresh lawn grass cuttings every o...
