Here is a picture taken shortly after they were born. I will take some other pictures and post to this thead.

The gold tip black one is under the ginger one's. He is black but has gold tips to his head area.

3 piglets reserved for a very nice new hone. Cream, Ginger White and Black GT castrated boars. Only have 2 left. A Black Gold Tipped boar ( castrated) . Thanks Di really good info Yes I had considered the future re any litters and in fact have 7 piglets remaining at the moment (2 have gone to a fantastic home). Many thanks Simon for your response.

It has given me some things to consider.

The main point being the handling etc. I just assumed that they would be handled in a similiar way to my sows but from your response you seem to be saying that I may be under estimating that.

Questions In the first instance could I keep the boar with my 2 sows until such time as they are looking to farrow? Weaning

I understand that weaning should take place at 8 weeks. However we have had 2 litters 2 weeks apart. The first litter produced only 1 surving piglet. I was thinking of weaning the 2nd litter at 8 weeks and the other piglet at 10 weeks and then putting the piglets all together? Also i understand mums...
