Have you tried Wendy Scudamore ( also in Hereford) at Barton Hill farm?
She has a couple of entire boar piglets at the moment, cant remember the exact bloodlines but I think one was Ru Trish.
See if you can get hold of her, I have seen her piglets and having some from her soon - beautiful!

When is the next Show? What do I do!?

Hello,

I am new to kunekune pigs, and to showing, but I would like to start next year.
Can anyone please tell me when the next show is?
How to enter and any costs involved?
What type of classes are there to enter?
Do the pigs have to be of a certain age?
Any other useful info??!

Thank you.

How to spot a good boar

I am looking to find a suitable breeding boar for my ladies. To get what I really want, I think I will have to save a castrate from the chop at a young age and wait for him to mature. Can anyone give me some pointers to look out for? I have read the "breed Standard" on the BKKPS website, but how do ...

I thought they were like sensory bits where they"smell" what is below them when they are feeding (ie food!)
But I could be wrong?

Gilt / Sow and an Entire Boar Wanted

Hi, I am setting up with a small heard of kunekune pigs. I have one piglet so far, she is of the "Trish" bloodline with Ru as the father. I am looking for a gilt / sow 10 months plus, preferably with Ru as the father. I am also looking for an entire boar (not Ru bloodline), cream or ginger with crea...
