My runt is now 2 and a half weeks old and she is well under half their size. She feeds 3-4 times a day but never takes much at all. She is always the first to the teat and last off too. Had the vet round who said that the teat in question isnt producing as much mils as the others and that as she is ...

Hi Simon, He didn't actually say he couldn't, just would not recommend it as it was quite large and couldn't not guarantee it was stitch up very well and couldn't be 100% on success. So he advised to send him for meat. I have wanted to try kune meat so didn't have great objections. Anyone have an id...

Within minutes the boys were back with mum and two of them eating. Unfortunately one of my boys has an inguinal hernia and the vet reco...

They look great. Thanks Pandora.

I have now managed to source 10' pallets and have cut them in half longways and wired the bottoms and they are working a treat but will look into something more substantial for her next litter.

Thanks again

Castrated Boars

Just wondering if the appearance of an adult castrated boar is any different to an adult entire boar??

Do they have the large thick armoured skin and tusks or do they grow more "sow looking" if that makes sense?

Thanks guys.

It hasn't been on for weeks as Mum never goes near it but i want to keep the piglets in and train them. I just didnt know if it will harm them when they get a dab off it or is it ok?

Do you have a minimum age to start electric fence training?
