second litter - many more boys!

Well, our second litter was born on Friday. All happy and healthy but we obviously have a genetic problem as again we have a vast majority of boys. There will be an influx of pork sausages on the market unless anyone knows of any interested parties :?

very useful

We have 2 gilts and 1 boar who all go through phases depending on how much grass is available. We make use of these phases by sticking them in the vegetable plot (walled garden) at the end of the season. I saves me getting the rotavator out and they have a wonderful time!

Well we have a Houdini in our litter! Nothing is keeping him close to mum. The great outdoors is far more interesting and after escaping fram the arc night after night since his birth last Friday, he was outside the pen this afternoon. The arc is in the middle of the pen which is about 50 x 50 meter...

on first check 6 boys and 2 girls. 4 ginger and black, 2 black and white and 2 (what we would call) white and brown, although this does not seem to be an official colour coding, so we do not know what to call it?!. They are all very much spotted.
